This is slightly late, but I haven't had time to upload the photos and edit them. Still no new camera so I still need to clean up some of the photos since they're usually too dark.
I would say that the last two months have been characterized by more whining and small tantrums. It looks like the "Terrible Two" stage has already started. Sean isn't terrible actually, but his character is becoming clearer. He's strong headed and stubborn most of the time. But he is also incredibly cute so I can never stay irritated at him for longer than a few minutes. =P
Daddy took out all his and Uncle John's old toys for Sean. There were many broken ones, but we found many still in good condition. So here is Sam trying to influence Sean to like the action figures he used to collect.
Uncle John also had many vehicles from all the old cartoons (X-men, GI Joe, Transformer), and there was Sam's steam roller from when he was 3 years old!
The old Transformer toys were rather cool. We don't even know which character it was, but it could transform from a truck to an airplane. We managed to fit Captain America in it.
We finally deflated the ball pit and moved the balls into a cheap inflatable pool, which we put into our cramped room. I removed his changing table out of the room when I got used to washing his bottom with water. It cleared up some space so I could move his cardboard house to another corner of the room, opening up space for the ball pool.
It's cramped but a lot of fun. After buying the balls for a whole year, Sean is finally playing with them on a regular basis. He just didn't like going into the ball pit, but he loves hanging out in his ball pool. =D
I tried getting Sean to scribble more, but when he realized that all his hands can do is scribble, he refused to draw anymore. He just ask me to draw cars after cars for him. I got tired of thinking up cars to draw, so I copied samples of cars from Edward Emberly's drawing book and pasted it on the wardrobe door. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop Sean from asking me to draw cars everyday. Here he is, improving on what I drew for him. ha ha ha =P
We spent a lot of time deciding whether to get him McQueen and Mater from Megablocks for him. They are overly expensive for something so small! When we first got it for him, all he did was look at them. He would get very upset if we took them apart and mix them up. It was rather fun teasing him. ha ha ha
Now he can put each of them perfectly together,(with a bit of help from us) and in fact, he likes mixing them up together on purpose now. =P
Sean loves playing with the push car at Dr. Kwan's clinic. We've been hunting for one that's cheaper than the 'Cars' push car at Toys'R'us . We finally found one at Giants, almost exactly the same as the one at the clinic, blue instead of yellow. And the best part is that, it's only a fraction of the price.

your room is like a playground!
so many toys!~~
Our room IS Sean's playground. It just so happens we sleep inside too. =P
The reason most of the toys are in the room is because they get lost out in the living room since I'm not always there to keep track of his toys.
Wah! Daddy is a toy collector! So, did sean play with them most of the time? If true then can save some money not to buy new ones...
Those are the combined collection of hubby and his younger brothers. Most of them are missing parts, but as long as there are wheels, Sean is happy.
We slept with many of the cars for 2 weeks until I got tired of colliding with them on the bed. So I banished them..ha ha ha... Sean still play with them once in a while, but his attention span is not that long.
ha ha, Adam just saw the pictures of the old toys and wants to come play at your house!!
Jem: Sure come over when you are back in KL. But Sam says, he is Optimus Prime. Adam will have to choose another character. =P
