Just wanna say... Sean likes books! yay!!!.. Mummy love books, so Mummy is happy that Sean likes books. When he was younger ( a few months ago), he loves ripping off books! He'd laugh with glee when he can tear pages of old magazines. (of course mummy makes sure that he doesn't get his hands on good books to tear apart).
We've bought him several soft books and cardboard books. It's nice to see that he actually loves to turn the pages and look at them. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem interested in listening to stories yet. Once I read him a story from Richard's Scary big book of stories (normal paper book). He flip the pages and aarrrggg.. rip a page of and laughed happily. So Mummy thinks Oookay.. no more paper book until later.
On his birthday, Izzy gave him a Where's Barney? book with a pop-up Barney. He really enjoys it. It's tough enough to chew, throw around, bend here and there, as well as flip around. He even looked as if he's listening when we read him the story and enjoys when Mummy or Daddy pops Barney from his hiding place.
Sean also loves going to the library. In fact, he'll howl when I take him home. He loves touching the books and pulling or pushing the books from the shelves. The other day, he was busy babbling to himself while playing at the aisle of bookshelves. The security guard came to take a look at this noisy baby .. Ooopsss.... hence my library trip is super short recently.. he he he
